A few tips...

So, I'm not much of a blogger, if you can't tell... I guess my hearts not really in it, but I'm trying.

Here are a couple of tips about friendships:

If you're married, or plan on getting married someday, don't forget your friends who are still not married. Just because you're married now does not mean you're better than them. Don't only hang out with your married friends. Is is really worth it to blow off these people who you have invested years into just because you have different marital statuses? If you do that, then when your old friends finally do get married do you think they're going to want to hang out with you now, just because your in the same point in life? Negative.

I guess this goes for any point of life when you move on and others stay behind. When you graduate highschool and go on to college, don't forget about your highschool friends... When you graduate college, don't forget about those who are still in school.

I guess what I'm trying to say is appreciate your friends. They help make you who you are. It takes a long time to build close friendships.. It's a shame to lose friends just because you're in different walks of life...

Kayla Lael Leonard

Today my cousin Susie had her baby. I'm so excited for her. She's 22.
She was my closest cousin growing up. Her family lived down the street from us when her parents were still married. We have gotten back in touch and in contact because of the baby. It wasn't a good situation to begin with, but God's grace is in it. She had a hard life, but there are a lot of people who are praying that this precious little girl will have God's grace and love on her life, which I know He will because He is faithful. I love my cousin and I am praying that her husband will receive God's grace in being the head of his family.
I thank God that He has put her into my life again. She doesn't live close, but we have pretty regular phone conversations and I hope that God will use me to demonstrate His love to her.

The Beginning

So, I have decided to start my own blog. Yes, I'm following the crowd.. This is a place for me to share my own "little insights" on anything really. I'm going to use this to share things I see, to vent, and just to speak my mind. So, welcome. Until next time.. or until I am provoked...
